They had a good ole' southern meal; juicy BBQ, succulent slaw, potatoes, home-made deep fried fries and sweeter than sweet southern iced tea. All home cooked by the Optimist men!
Now what was a polite girl to do, she couldn't just NOT EAT. My first thoughts were to just "sacrifice" myself and get big helpings of everything, just to show my honest support of the Optimist Club.
I didn't. Thinking "low carb," I dished up some BBQ and smothered it with slaw. Then I got a glass of water. Not too bad.
