I changed the type of leaf that I am using for name tags. I went to collect more fig leaves, but it had rained the night before and shriveled them all up. (Oops!) Trying to be creative and not spend more money, my daughter and I sneaked these beautiful magnolia leaves off a tree by the Goodwill.
They are working better. They are strong, firm, and they have a beautiful, velvety, brown coating on the back, they almost look fake. I sprayed one side gold.
Then I typed up random facts and stick glued them onto the leaves. I tied polka dotted ribbon to each leaf, I also have polka dotted napkins for the place settings. Today I will add a name to each one. I also spray painted walnuts and guards different golds for the table.
