Psalm 43:5 in Afrikans

Why am I discouraged? 

Why is my heart so sad? 

I will put my hope in God! 

I will praise him again--

my Savior and my God! Psalm 43:5

My dad is in the hospital. 

I slept last night, that is, between being awake once an hour. I chose to pray during these periods of sleep disturbance, instead of worry.

I woke up calm. Concerned, but had a certain unfamiliar sense of peace in my heart.

Last night our bible study started "40 Days  in the Word." 

Last nights bible verse:

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.  Colossians 3:15

How does God do that. How does he know what I need when I need it.

He is amazing.
